Walking along the beach at Goose Rocks Beach and then having a drink at the funky bar in the back of The Inn at Goose Rocks was a favorite thing to do when company came to visit us in Biddeford Pool. The Inn looks like a nice place to stay, too. The point of land at the end of Biddeford Pool was also a good place to walk. Or, if you have a boat, set off from the Biddeford Pool Yacht Club and check out the little islands off the Southern Coast.

I love the miles of beach from Pine Point to Ocean Park. I love walking it and then treating myself to a bucket of clams after!

I like Pier 77 in Cape Porpoise. It's at the end of Pier Road - which shoots off Route 9. There are a couple restaurants and a couple spots to sit and watch the tide. The Goat Island Lighthouse is on a nearby island. The pier is used by working lobstermen so please stay out of their way.
